Introduction

The programme provides the key knowledge and tools to move beyond simply managing tasks and reacting to requests and organise time and effort towards value and performance. The focus will be upon the practical application of knowledge, rather than the theory for its own sake.

• Time management
• Organisational types - to learn why what works in one organisation may not work elsewhere.
• Presentation Skills - The theory and practice of designing and delivering.
• Motivation & teams - the key models that drive performance.
• Performance Feedback - how to handle conversations about performance.
• Thinking tools - Argyris learning loops & the Cynefin Framework.

Interactive Learning Methods

The programme will be highly interactive and will make wide use of case studies, group work and

discussion of the practical application of knowledge to participants in the real world of work.
